One of the challenges for visitation to Port arthur and the Tasman Peninsular has been the disjointed marketing and promotion. Research has shown that they are looking for a number of varied offerings, activities, food and accommodation.
Feedback from industry leaders from around the world to Tony Park, development manager of the Port Arthur Villas, was that there needed to be a total package for visitors to Port Arthur, Tasmania, so they can sell a broader experience to potential consumers.
That experience offering, needs to be not just accommodation and more than just the Port Arthur World Heritage Penal site, but a range of activities and food that support each other and creates an experience that extends from Sorell to Port Arthur and return.
Tony has been able to bring not only the industry leaders of Pennicott Tours, Un-Zoo and Osborne Helicopters, but smaller exciting activities like the Sorell fruit Farm, Vineyards, Chocolate factory and others.
Available in 3 levels, from upmarket quality products, to more budget offerings, but all adding to the Port Arthur experience. Creating a much broader offering to the International and mainland market and should see a greater visitation to this important part of Australia.
